The kids

Here is a picture of each of my wonderful children.  

First up is Eric, showing you his Spiderman band-aid.  Since then he has requested band-aids even when there is no need.  

 Hyrum is doing what he does best getting himself into situations he cannot get out of.  He love sitting in the fireplace, climbing on top of the picnic table, and balancing on almost anything.

 Wendy always looks at the world through rose colored glasses, but in this picture it is literal.  She loves her glasses.

 Finally, Zachary striking a pose.  He loves to dance and has rhythm and some awesome moves.

My New Do

I finally got my haircut after 7 months.  It really needed it.  I had a beautiful mop on my head and now I have something that can at least look like it is suppose to have a style.  I am happy with it and I am glad it is done in time for our trip to Hawaii!!!

Wendy

Wendy has a mind of her own when it comes to dressing, or anything else for that matter.  She likes to pick out what she will wear each morning.  It begins with underwear, if the 'cupcakes' are available that will be picked.  Next are 'flowers', then 'purple', and then she asks me if I have done the wash.  This morning she wanted a skirt and a shirt with a hat.  Here she is making her fashion statement.  She is a wonderful little lady.

Hyrum's Birthday!

Hyrum's First Birthday!!

Hyrum had a great birthday.  It began with a trip to the doctor for his check-up.  He is 17lb 13oz which doesn't even put him on the chart for weight, but at 28.5 inches he is in the 10th percentile for height.  Of course the doctor would like to see him gain a little weight, so he gets all the whole milk he wants.  Overall he is healthy and hitting all the developmental milestones.  He is a very social boy and likes to be around his siblings and parents.  He jabbers a lot, but the only thing we can understand in Mama.  He likes to play with balls, and loves to be outdoors.  He has a wonderful toothy smile, which he shares often.  Hyrum loves to eat and will sometimes eat more than all his siblings combined.  We love having him in our home and seeing him grow and develop.

Easter Weekend

Flamm Family Fun was had during the Easter break.  The kids had Friday and Monday off so it was a long fun filled weekend.  Friday we went to the Zoo and then met Kyle at the park for lunch.  Saturday morning we dyed eggs.  The afternoon we found Easter baskets and did a mini egg hunt in the back yard.  One of the things in the Easter baskets were squirt guns.  The rest of the afternoon we had fun squirting each other.  Easter Sunday we mostly relaxed.  Church was inspirational and Kyle made Chicken and Dumplings for dinner.

Conference Weekend

Conference came and was great.  It seems that there are always a few talks that are just for me and this time was no exception.  I particularly loved President Eyring's talk and will be rereading it.  We mostly just had a relaxing weekend at home.  Kyle spent one session talking a part some airplane headphones and then putting them back together as a different wire that would allow us to listen to conference through his phone in the car.  Here is a photo of his diligent work.
