"Little" Lady Sabrina

Sabrina continues to grow at her own pace.  At her 9 month check-up she was 14lb 8oz putting her in the 2 percentile.  She was 25.25in. tall.  Yes, the quarter inch is important because even with it she is not on the charts.  Developmentally she is right on track.  She loves patty-cake and can wave and say her version of "hi".  She crawls everywhere and has begun pulling herself up on furniture.  Overall she is a very happy child and when she is grumpy food, or sleep usually fix the problem.  We love our little beena girl.

Happy Birthday, MiKell

I had a wonderful relaxing birthday.  The morning started with a delicious breakfast in bed.  I was invited to a birthday party for another lady in the ward and had fun being with friends over lunch.  The afternoon and evening were spent with my wonderful family, being spoiled and loved.  Another year older and hopefully wiser too.

Gingerbread

Kyle found a Gingerbread village kit after Thanksgiving.  We had a fun evening building and decorating little houses.  We also enjoyed eating them :)

Meeting Santa

We were able to see Santa at Eric and Wendy's school.  Sabrina was very curious as to who he was.

Trees

Christmas Tree
We decorated the Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving.  It was a fun activity.  To avoid fighting I divided the ornaments evenly by size, and color and they had their pile to put on.  They each did a great job.  Sabrina was a great observer.

Front Yard Trees

We raked the front yard and got 12 more bags on Saturday.  The kids had a great time playing in the leaves and scooping them into the bags.

Thanksgiving

We had a fun filled Thanksgiving.  We had the missionaries over and they livened things up and really entertained the children.  They began arriving around noon and raked our leaves.  This was a huge chore that although they spent almost 3 hours and got almost 40 bags was not finished.  I am sooooooo grateful for their help.  While raking they also kept our children entertained and helping which allowed us to finish dinner preparations.  We had a wonderful meal.  Kyle made the meats, turkey and ham.  We had cranberry jello, and pear jello, green beans, shredded carrots, cooked cabbage, rolls, banana pumpkin bread, stuffing.  Delicious!!!

Wendy read her library book to the missionaries.  They were a great audience and she was super excited to be able to read.

After dinner we all added to our Thankful Turkey, played the nickle game (Eric won the pot).  We then had pie.  The choices were, pecan, strawberry, mincemeat, banana cream, and peaches 'n cream cheesecake.  Tasty!

Veteran's Day Program

The second grade did a wonderful job presenting a Veteran's Day program  Eric sang all the songs for us at home with a lot of animation, but on stage he looked dazed.  Still he was super cute and did a wonderful job.

Waiting for the program to begin.

It took longer than I thought it would...

Well, with how active/rough Zachary is it is a miracle that he made it to nine to get his first stitch.  Yes, he only needed one so we cannot pluralize it.  He was scared and took a lot of convincing to let the doctor touch it after the numbing gel was on it.  However, once she did he said just get it over.
How did it happen.  He was hit by a ball while playing wall ball and his glasses cut under his eyebrow.  It was a weird spot.

While waiting at the doctors Hyrum needed to be entertained and all I had was the camera so after deleting 400 pictures these are a couple that actually worked.  I'm singing "You ain't nothin but a hound dog" into my microphone (Zachary's foot).

Charlotte's Web Day

Charlotte's Web Day was a fun filled day for all the 3rd graders.  They spent about a month reading Charlotte's Web in their class and then had a field day.  They painted pumpkins, went on a hay ride, saw real pigs and spiders, and had plenty of snack and played plenty of games.  We went and had a picnic lunch with Zachary and then stayed and helped with the pumpkin painting booth.  Hyrum had a great time painting his own pumpkin.

Happy birthday, Kyle!

Kyle was on a business trip on his actual birthday so we celebrated a few days early.  The kids love their dad and wanted to make it special for him, they had him guess what their gifts were.  He came up with some pretty crazy ideas, maybe he'll get them for Christmas :)  Happy Birthday to a wonderful father, husband, and man.

Halloween

Halloween was a fun adventure for the Flamm family. Kyle was away on business so we got dressed up and all 5 of the kids walked around the neighborhood.  Zachary soon found a group of older kids and their parents we knew and joined their group.  It was a successful night of "trick or treating" in nice warm weather.  We went to a few houses that went all out on Halloween decor and Eric loved them.  Zachary was a dementor, Eric was an alien, Wendy was a fairy, Hyrum was a fireman, and Sabrina was herself.
Earlier in the week we went to the ward trunk or treat and Wendy also dressed up for her ballet class. At both those events Wendy was the Chinese princess seen below.
