Wendy's Birthday

Wendy had a great Birthday.  We celebrated as soon as Kyle got home from work.  She loved receiving gifts and preparing for the next couple of days.  The 23rd she had a tea party with friends, and then the 24th she was baptized (see other post)  I somehow lost the photos from her birthday, and party, so this is all you get.

Wendy is a fun 8-year-old.  She loves sharing things with her friends and having play-dates.  She likes writing at school and is doing well in all her learning.  She loves to play with Sabrina and her other siblings.  She is a joy to have in our family.

The Bahamas

The Bahamas was a great short vacation.  We left Wednesday morning at 6:30am and arrived at our hotel at 10:30pm that day.  4 flights and 33 hours of travel!  Once there we adjusted quickly and enjoyed some gorgeous weather.  We swam in pools and in a clear turquoise ocean with soft sand.  We enjoyed renewing friendships.  We ate scrumptious breakfasts each morning.  We visited magnificent aquariums.  And we went to fun parties.  It was an enjoyable, tiring 4 days.  We then went to church, and started our long journey home.  Another Flamm Family adventure is in the books.

 The Resort was huge, we did not even see all the pools or beaches available to our use.

 Swimming with kids is always fun.  What cuties I have been blessed with.

Sabrina had fun with Ang at the Toddler event.  The older kids went to a casino themed party and learned the house always wins.

Eric's Birthday

 Eric had a Pokemon Birthday party the Saturday before his birthday.  He and his friends had a great time eating pizza, going on a puzzle treasure hunt for Pokemon balls, and celebrating Eric.

Eric was very impatient waiting to open his birthday gifts from family.  He first wanted to as part of his party, hen before school, and finally before Dad got home from work.  Dad did help out and came home a little early so we could celebrate.  Eric is a fun 10 year-old.  He is a good drawer and colorer.  He likes to create things if the instructions are easy to follow, or he can do whatever he likes.  He is a great friend and tries to include others.  He has a sense of humor, and can make people smile.  His smile is beautiful and contagious.  We love having Eric in our family.

Cross Country

All the kids ran in their cross-country events at school.  They all did a great job.  It was a tiring sunshiny morning.  Sabrina and I had fun cheering them all on.  Eric had to run 3 laps, Wendy 2 laps, and Hyrum 1.
