Happy Birthday, Shelly! & Backyard Fire

Happy Birthday, Shelly.  We do not know the date of Shelly's birth so we made one up.  May 27th we celebrated Shelly.  She got a new plant and backdrop for her aquarium.  

We then had a turtle banana bread cake. Yum!

 We had a fun evening making smores and playing outside.  It was gorgeous and no mosquitoes.  

The fire included all the papers from the kids school bags it was a bonfire.

Happy 18th Anniversary

Kyle planned a fun afternoon evening the day before our anniversary.  We started with an afternoon swimming.  We then went to the Eagles Nest restaurant, which is on the roof of the Hyatt Hotel.  It is one of those restaurants that turns as you eat so you get to see a 360degree view of the city.  It was fun and the food was delicious.  The following morning we went and did sealing at the temple.  It was a wonderful anniversary weekend.  I am grateful to have such a wonderful husband who is an amazing father.

 

Fun

A ward members no longer needed/wanted their ping pong table so now we have it.  It has been a fun addition.

Boone Meadow Bash was an evening of fun.  It was great that the weather cooperated and we were able to play.

 

Sunday Walks

The past few Sundays we have taken time to walk as a family.  April 24th we walked Elm Street Green an Creekside Nature Park.  May 1 we walked on some trails in Starkey Park.  All are right in Zionsville, but feel a world away.  May 8th and 15th we stayed around our neighborhood, and May 22 we went to Scott Starling Nature Sanctuary.

It was a bit muddy and an adventure in places, but the spring flowers were beginning to bloom and the company was ideal.
