Wendy at 9 months!

At 9 months. . .
Wendy dislikes: getting dressed, sleeping through the night, falling down stairs, and being left alone.
Wendy likes: attention, crawling, standing up, her fuzzy blankets, putting things in her mouth, eating, reading books, playing patty-cake, climbing stairs, and being outside.

As you can see Wendy likes more than she dislikes, so she is easy to get along with. We love having her in our home.

The following videos are of Wendy playing with a balloon, and Wendy crawling and then putting something in her mouth. Everything and anything goes in her mouth.

At her 9 month check-up, she was pronounced a healthy little girl weighing in at 15lb 15 oz (7th percentile) and 26.5 in. (17th percentile).

Robots continued. . .

The newest thing in Flamm Family robotics.

This little guy can move. It is fun watching Kyle get excited about programs working or parts doing what they should. It is also fun to see how creative he is in making parts, such as the base or wheels out of things around the house.

Eric's Book

It is amazing how different children are. Zachary has never had any interest is coloring. Eric on the other had loves coloring. One day he asked if he could color, I asked him if he would like to color a whole storybook. As can be seen in the following video, he said yes. I found his story telling quite entertaining. I think everyone will have to agree he is one cute boy!

The Beginning of the Robots

Kyle is excited about robots. He has been researching how to make them and the cool things they can do. Of course Zachary is just as excited about the whole thing. Last week Kyle ordered the first of what he hopes will be many purchases to build his robots. On Saturday the first package came in the mail. Zachary and Kyle went to work building something. Kyle has not yet received the board to actually make it a robot that can do things on its own, so this first one is more like a remote control car. Zachary had the idea to use rubber bands on the wheels. Both were quite proud of the results of their labors.

Wendy's lucious locks!

Wendy definitely has hair. This month we have gotten more comments on her hair than is seems in the past. Maybe it grew a bit. Here are a few posts that demonstrate how much hair she has!

Below was the first time I tried full ponytails. They worked great until she lied down for a nap and then it was frizz central, in the back. I guess I'll have to wait a little longer for this style.

Here are pictures of Wendy in pigtails, and a side ponytail accented by a flower. Most of the time she is very cooperative when getting her hair done; of course that is one of the reasons it gets done.

For church I tried the style seen below, I did not plan on getting so extensive, but she was sitting so calmly that I just kept going. The picture also shows how long it is getting in the back. Now that she is sitting it is a lot easier to both do and keep her hair done.

Now so you don't think that her hair is always done, here are a few pictures showing how wild it can be. Hopefully as she grows older it will get a bit thicker and heavier and not be so fly away.
No matter how Wendy has her hair done she is one cutie.

Little Fish!!

Presidents Day we went swimming and had a grand time. That morning we bought Wendy her first swimming suit which was so cute on her. Then that afternoon for 21/2 hours we enjoyed the water. We rented a tube for the waves which the boys absolutely loved. It was a great family activity; the boys had to show us the things they had learned at swimming lessons, and Wendy was happy to float and splash.

Jumping Bean!

Wendy has discovered she can bounce in her bouncer. The first few times she was put in the bouncer she just sat there and played with the toys. But now she knows how to jump, so she jumps. Here is a little video to show how cute she is.
