Final Days in New Zealand

Sabrina showing her new certificate from gymnastics.  Hyrum and Wendy also earned them.

Wendy participated in the year 3-6 swim meet.  She did better than she expected and was super excited about it.  The school also wished them a farewell at the end of term.

Eric's hub had an evening where they shared ideas of things that used animal adaptations.  Eric's group designed a packaging system based on a turtle shell.  They did a great job and Eric had fun explaining things.

Good-bye Tawa Ward.  It was hard to say goodbye to some wonderful people.  They influenced us and included us.  A wonderful part of our New Zealand experience.

Our last flight out of New Zealand.  A beautiful Sunrise greeted us as we waved goodbye.

Our flight out of Sydney was on a double-decker plane.  It was pretty awesome.

Wendy's 9th Birthday

Wendy had her birthday just after we returned to New Zealand.  She was excited to receive Squishies, a Fingerling, Bobbity Elephant and eat some yummy cake.  We were in the process of packing so she was not able to play with them for long, before they got put in a suitcase.

Wendy has a friendly disposition.  She loves being around friends and requests friends play dates often.  Wendy can be opinionated which can lead to some grumpy attitudes, but usually she is easy going.  She likes learning, particularly reading and finding answers.  She want to be a 'teacher, sort of,' when she grows up.

June Vacation: Schwieder Reunion

The Schwieder Reunion was at Sand Creek Ponds outside of St. Anthony, Id.  It was a beautiful place.  The weather did not cooperate completely, but even with rain we had fun.  We left on Saturday and had Mom's birthday celebration at their home.

New game Todd brought was a hit.

The last thing we did was visit the Idaho Falls Temple visitor center.
