Saturday morning we spent attending a wedding of the son of one of the ward members. It was a fun event with plenty of food afterword. It was also fun to meet people mom and dad knew.
Saturday evening was a fireside where the speakers were none other than Mom and Dad. The evening began with learning to make some red bean cake and then the former bishop and another sister told all about how wonderful they are. I happen to agree. Mom an Dad then spoke in Chinese. It was great to see them as missionaries. They are loved and will be missed in Taiwan. They also love the people they are working with.
I was glad to see these great people and say goodbye that night, but I wasn't so thrilled with speaking - it just never got very good.
