Our first stop was simply to stretch our legs, but I had to take pictures.
Cathedral Falls
On our drive we came across this beautiful waterfall.
New River National Park - West Virginia
The gorge was beautiful and the bridge quite a engineering feat. It is the longest single span steel bridge and third highest in the United States. When it was built in 1977 it was the longest in the world which record was held until 2003.
As always I must take pictures of beautiful flowers when I see them. This time of years there are not as many, but I still found them.
