Dr. Seuss, Mardi Gras, Ropes Course
The girls and Grandpa participated in the Dr Suess Trivia and won! We then met up with the rest of the family for a story time of Horton Hears a Who. It was a fun morning.
That afternoon there was a medical emergency disembarkation. The boat had to come to a complete stop and the coast guard came and transferred a crew member to the mainland. Sunday they had made an announcement asking for people with A+ blood and a donor card to report, so it must have been severe. The water was beautiful as it was churned up from the stopping ship and the colors magnificent.
We also tried out the ropes course. Sabrina and Wendy chose not to participate which meant we had a couple of photographers to capture our bravery.
One of the kids favorite parts of the cruise was the unlimited free soft serve ice-cream. The Family Lounge was steps away from our cabin and the machine was well used.
