Halloween was fun! Zachary was a viking and a mighty cute one at that. He was very good at saying trick-or-treat and then thank-you. He also liked looking at other kids costumes and commenting on them. Eric was good at being cute and putting his hand out and saying uh, uh. This of course got him just as much candy as Zach. Eric went as a penguin. It was the costume he wore last year, it still fit! They both had a great time.

Fall Fun
I went to a cornmaze for Young Women's on Wednesday and found out that the place we went had a huge pumpkin patch and a small haymaze for kids. And the bests part is its free. So Thursday morning the boys and I had some fun. The boys spent almost an hour running through the maze, patching up holes they found, and having a great time.

Savior of the World
Kyle and I had the opportunity to participate in our Stake's production of "Savior of the World" This is a musical production that depicts the Savior's birth and resurrection. It was a very special experience for me. Practices began the end of July, and we just finished our last performance tonight. I met many new friends that have helped strengthen me, and I have been amazed at the talents and testimonies they have shared.
My testimony of the Savior has grown; as I have learned more about the events leading up to his birth, and those surrounding his resurrection. I know that Jesus Christ is the savior of the world. He lives! The final song in the production always made me feel of the love my Heavenly Father and Savior have. The words are from the hymn "Jesus Once of Humble Birth" They read,
Jesus, once of humble birth,
Now in glory comes to earth.
Once he suffered grief and pain;
Now he comes on earth to reign.
Our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ loves us. Their plan is to help us find joy in this life and in the life to come. I know this to be true.
We both were angels at different point in the show. Kyle also played the apostle Matthew and I was Hannah a woman who saw the risen lord.

Grandma and Grandpa Schwieder Visit
Grandma and Grandpa Schwieder came up to see Savior of the World. They came straight from Grandma's violin lesson so we had the treat of hearing her practice. I thought that the rest of you might enjoy hearing her play since she doesn't let us have that privilage often. Enjoy!!
