Dancing at the Museum

The Children's Museum was a fun Spring break field-trip.  They had a new outdoor section which was wet from all the rain, but still fun.  The kids also enjoyed making paper airplanes, and building castles from huge blocks.  My favorite part was watching them all dance in the music room.  I have some kids with rhythm.

Wendy's Kindergarten Music Program

Wendy did an awesome job at her Kindergarten program.  Everyone sang all the songs, but her class was on stage for "Wheels on the Bus"  She did great and was so proud of her accomplishment.  Wendy loves Kindergarten! She is doing great academically, socially, and with her behavior.  What a sweet girl. https://youtu.be/akNnxDcuIYo

Winter Weather Days

The past couple of weeks have brought winter weather to Mississippi.  The last week of February the kids got out of school early one day, started late the next, and completely got out the following day.  Then last week they again got out of school on Thursday, we actually had snow that morning.  Winter weather means something different here than in Idaho, but we'll take it.  Here it means the possibility of freezing rain, which can make travel dangerous.  Hoping Spring is now on the way and warmer weather.

Broadway Lights!

Broadway Lights was a great show put on by the 3rd Grade.  Zachary played the part of a monkey in the Lion King portion of the show.  He also sang with the chorus for the other numbers.  He had a great time and is simply growing up way too fast.

Here are a few shots of us waiting for the show to begin.
