Tent!!!

We built a tent that took
up almost the entire front room. The boys loved it, and even I could fit inside. We had a wonderful picnic lunch in our tent.

Show Off

Eric is getting bigger and learning so much each day. His vocabulary is increasing by leaps and bounds, although often I'm the only one who understands what he is saying. Emjoy the following clip where he shows off some of his new words.

Handsome Snoozer

Kyle has been very busy with work lately, so we often see him looking like the pictures below on the weekends. When I want him to wake up I tell Zach and Eric to tickle or jump on him. It works quite nicely and Kyle is a good sport.

Little Helpers

I left the broom out one day, Zachary found it and wanted to help. I had to find another broom for Eric. They were both great little helpers.

Both Eric and Zachary are quick to help clean up, most of the time. Zachary sings a song, and Eric has learned how to say "clean up."

Christmas Vacation

Merry Christmas!!

Well, I'm finally getting around to posting what we did for Christmas. It was a hectic, but enjoyable vacation. We left for Washington on December 24th and returned January 2nd. It was great to see family, celebrate Christmas, welcome in the New Year, and play, play, play.

Eric and Zach liked opening presents, but I think they enjoyed playing with them even more. We created a little play area in our bedroom and the kids just played, sometimes even together!
Eric received a toy that played a variety of songs. Although it had many more functions Eric's favorite thing was to push the music button and dance. What a dancer he is.

Zachary just liked playing. Here he is explaining some of the gifts he received. About a week before Christmas he decided he wanted to ask Santa for an airplane, thank goodness Santa knew and had already bought a small stocking stuffer :)

We hope you all have a wonderful year!

OMSI- Oregon Museum of Science and Industry

While visiting we visited OMSI. Both Zachary and Eric had a great time. Of course anything with a button was entertaining, but there was also a lot to learn.

As you can see, it was fun for the whole family, not just the kids. One display was all about mind teasers which was fun for adults and kids. Below Kyle and Zachary are watching a display in the physics room.

Help Wanted:

Wanted aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and friends who are willing to welcome a new little one into the family. Duties may include babysitting, changing diapers, tickling, and entertaining older siblings. Position begins sometime around June 25, 2009.

Yes, for those of you who do not already know we are expecting our 3rd child. We will hopefully find out if it is a little boy or girl the beginning of February. So far I have felt good although a little (or more accurately extremely) tired. Kyle has been a great support.

We will keep you posted.
