1 Month

Sabrina has passed the one month mark for being in this world.  She is a beautiful little girl.  She likes to be held and insists on it in the evening.  She receives plenty of attention from her siblings, who love her a lot (Wendy says she loves her a gajillion).  Her hair has a lot of red in it that just shimmers in the light.  She continues to try and find a thumb or finger to suck on, but has not found it yet :}

Cute pictures of Wendy

Wendy is a cute thing.  She is super excited to register for Kindergarten next week!  Last night we put her hair in curlers and she woke up gorgeous!  She was excited to show all her friends at school.  She said they all said it was beautiful except Graham who said it was weird.

Spring Break Vacation

  We started our Spring Break going to Top Sail Reserve State Park in Florida.  They have a very nice cabin that we were able to stay in for a couple of nights.  The weather was not ideal for playing in the water, as it was windy, big waves, and full of jellyfish.  We did spend some time playing in the sand, and at the playground that was part of the park.  As you can see it was our red day.  On Thursday, Kyle left with the three older kids for Orlando and the AGM; I left with the two younger kids for home.  Both of us had a great time.  They were able to party, play in the pools, go to Harry Potter's World, and play with Grandma (who so willingly went as the nanny).  I was able to get some things done at home and simply relax.  Now we are back in school and trying to get back into a routine.

I told Kyle to take pictures of the AGM portion of the vacation.  He came home with 13 pictures all of which were from the final night, oh well!

2 weeks

Sabrina had her 2 week check-up on Monday.  She was 7lbs 9oz the size Eric was when he was born.  She is growing well and staying awake more.  She likes to be held when she is awake which can be hard at times, but she is so cuddly that sometimes it is hard to put her down.  The kids continue to love her.  Zachary has pleasantly surprised me and been a great help.  He will hold her while he sings and rocks her.  It is very cute!!  When Eric pays attention to her he is kind; however, most of the time he just wants to complete whatever project he is doing.  Wendy cannot get enough of her little sister.  Most of the time this is fine, but sometimes Sabrina is just not in the mood for one more kiss.  Hyrum seems to be adjusting well.  He still wants our attention, but when we explain that we need to take care of Sabrina (most of the time) he allows us to do so.  She is our little lady and we are excited to see her grow.

Dr. Seuss Day

 Here are Zachary and Eric in their Dr. Seuss costumes for school.  Zachary was the Zizzer-Zazzer-Zuzz from Dr. Seuss's ABC Book and Eric was Horton the Elephant.  Eric wanted to be Horton because Elephant started with 'E.'  Zachary went through many different ideas, but with Grandma's help settled on the Zizzer-Zazzer-Zuzz.  Grandma and Grandpa ate lunch with the boys at school and reported that both were original costumes.  I know they are both wonderful boys.
