June Birthdays

Eric's birthday fell when he was at Priesthood Encampment, so we celebrated as a family when he arrived back home.  He had a few friends come over and game with him to celebrate as well.  Eric continues to do well at all he puts his mind to.  He is a responsible young man.  He is working toward getting his driver's license.

Wendy had fun birthday and enjoyed a papering party with her friends the following week.  This year has been a good one for Wendy.  She has an amazing group of friends which support and help her.  She loved her teachers, especially Ms Calabria and Mr Woyhas.  She began taking growth hormones and does not like the shots, but is getting better at allowing them to be given.  It helps that she has already grown 2 inches since April.

Happy Birthday! Hyrum is 12

Hyrum hit a milestone birthday, 12!  He has loved being in the Deacon's Quorum.  He is a great young man who really matured in the past year.  He is always so excited to be a part of any activity and is a wonderful big brother to Sabrina.  He took after his father and made sure opening presents took a good long time😀

Roatan, Honduras

Getting into Port

Island Tour

We spent the morning taking a tour of the West side of the Island.  Our tour guide Larry, shared with us stories as we drove.  We saw towns, schools, a chocolate factory, sandy beaches, lava beaches, iguanas, and tasted Sour Sop juice.  Roatan is a beautiful, diverse island.

Daniel Johnson's Monkey and Sloth Hangout

We spent the afternoon cuddling with a sloth, having monkeys search through our hair and pockets, and interact with parrots.  It was fun!  We then went snorkeling and saw a squid, a live sand dollar, and fish.  It was a new experience for most of the family, but ended up being a positive one.

Birthday Girl

We finished the evening back on board.  We celebrated Sabrina's birthday with a cake at dinner, and a gift from Grandma and Grandpa.  The entire day we wore shirts that let people know it was her birthday and she got multiple songs and greetings.

Good-bye Roatan
