Flamm Family Reunion

The red rocks of St. George in the background our little family had fun with the Flamm's at the reunion.  We swam, explored, and just relaxed with family.

Atlanta, Georgia

The Georgia Aquarium
We went home by way of Atlanta.  We were able to spend the day at the aquarium.  We saw a dolphin show and got very wet.  We also saw a lot of animals up close.  Some of our favorites were the penguins, manta rays, and Dory like fish.

Smoky Mountain National Park

Hike to Walker Sisters Cabin.
It was a good hike, as always it seemed much longer getting there than coming back.  The kids did a great job.

 Chimney Tops Picnic Area
We were very pleased with the fun had during lunch.  It was a beautiful place with plenty of awesome places to explore for active boys and girls.

 Newfound Gap Overlook.
Again just beautiful.  Being Memorial day weekend it was very crowded, but oh so worth the view.  Kyle thought it was particularly fun to cross the Appalachian Trail.

Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

We visited Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee before going through Smoky Mountain National Park.  It was a fun day on rides.  As you can see we wore our matching shirts.

We were also able to see the Smoky Mountain Opry, the Dixie Stampede, and the Hatfield & McCoy Feud Dinner Show.  All were enjoyable and the kids had a great time.  We didn't get many pictures of the shows, because we were watching not picture taking.  Here are a couple, first the buffalo at the Dixie Stampede, and the kids participating in the preshow at the Dinner Show.

Rock City
Rock City is part of Lookout Mountain.  It has a great hike that leads you through crevices and gardens to the top of the mountain.  The entire place was beautiful and we went on a gorgeous day.  At the top you can see 7 States!

 Ruby Falls
Ruby Falls is a waterfall that is found in a cave underground.  It was a fun little hike seeing rock formations getting there and then it truly was a beautiful sight.  When originally discovered they crawled for 7 hours to get to a spot they could stand up, thank-goodness they have opened it up for tourists.  Sabrina particularly enjoyed the trip, she slept soundly for most of it.
