Handsome Husband
Here is my handsome husband. Kyle had to have a professional photo taken for work. This is the one his company chose to go with. He looks pretty darn good doesn't he?

Playing at the park.
The weather is still allowing plenty of trips to the park. I love living within walking distance to a park. I really like going to this park because there is something all the kids enjoy doing, and there are lots of trees to provide shade somewhere all day. Wendy loves going down the slide and can do it herself, Zachary is quite proud of his ability to go down the fire pole, and Eric loves the twisty slide and the swings. They all love playing the sand.

Happy Happy Birthday!
Zachary's 5th Birthday was a success!! At preschool they made him a card, and he was able to share fruit snacks. For dinner we had what he requested, "Macaroni and Cheese with nothing on it" This simply means only cheese, no hot dogs, ketchup, etc.
After dinner the festivities began. Zachary opened his presents, all of which were a big hit. This year it was easy to know what Zachary would like, and easy to find it. He received, Power Ranger transformers, a camera (it also has three little games on it), a bicycle bell, and more Trio building blocks from the immediate family. A package came in the mail from Grandma and Grandpa Flamm. The fact that it came in the mail was exciting, but he and Kyle also had a great time playing with the Snap Circuits he received. Aunt Emily and Uncle Brad gave him some moon sand with a very cool crane. After gifts, we sang and had cake and ice cream. He had a robot cake and blew out all the candles on the first try. I wonder what his wish was?
The following day Grandma and Grandpa Schwieder visited and brought a Chinese Dragon jacket, and a game to play catch. He loved showing them all his other new toys. When asked what he liked about his birthday, he said he likes his camera, transformers, and electricity thing.

Camping!
Labor Day weekend we went camping. We went to Albert Moser Campground located by the Cub River near Preston, ID. We had a great time, although the mornings were cold.
The boys loved playing 'Pooh Sticks' on the three bridges that were close to our camp, and I enjoyed the sound of running water. We went on a hike, which ended up being quite the hike. It was straight uphill. The boys seemed to do just fine, but Kyle and I got tuckered out. It was a very nice view from up on top, or rather, part way up the mountain side. Wendy was a little independent girl and always wanted to walk on her own, rather than be carried. Sometimes the boys got a little impatient because she was so slow, but it was cute. The boys played rock climbers and loved the walking sticks that Kyle found for them. One night we had tinfoil dinners with tater tots that turned out delicious. Of course we also roasted marshmallows, and made a mess eating them. Overall it was a nice little trip, I think we all had a good time.

Todd and Bethany Married!
Last Friday, September 3rd, Todd and Bethany were married in the Idaho Falls Temple. It was a beautiful occasion. Both Bethany and Todd were just radiant, and so happy. My mom made skirts for all the adult girls and little jumpers for the little girls. I think they turned out great!! Way to go Mom! While taking pictures I wanted to make sure we got one of the Kyle Flamm family, since the family photo we had hanging in our house was when Wendy was a month old. So here is the new family photo. Thanks, Josh for taking the pictures. Thanks, Todd for picking such a wonderful young lady to join the family. And finally thanks, Bethany for being willing to join a family that can be a little strange.
