Percentiles

I realized I did not put the percentiles that my kids were at their last check-ups.  It was right after our vacations and right before Sabrina went into the hospital.  Eric and Wendy had their annual check-ups and Sabrina had her 4 month check-up.  
Eric:       Weight = 50lbs 44th percentile                       Height = 3ft 11in 31st percentile
Wendy:  Weight = 34lb 11th percentile                        Height = 3ft 4in  8th percentile
Sabrina  Weight = 11lb 3oz  less than 3rd percentile     Height = 1ft 11.5 in 5th percentile

Marble Fun

At the Relief Society Back to School Swap, which is a garage sale without the sale part, we got a couple of marble run sets.  They have been well played with by both the young and the old in our home.  Here is Sunday evening and the big tower that Dad helped make,  Can you say, "WOW!"

Sisters

  Wendy is loving Kindergarten, but missing her sister.   Here she is posing on orange day, and loving on her little sister.  Most of the time Sabrina is happy for the attention.

Sabrina's discoveries!

Discovery #1:  Her Toes

Sabrina discovered her toes a week or so ago and continues to love playing with them.  

Discovery #2:  Her Voice

Sabrina has started to talk, talk, talk.  She likes to be loud and happy.

She has mastered the roll from back to front, and can get back if she doesn't get frustrated first.

Pets ?

 For about a month we are dog-sitting two very nice dogs.  Baxter is on the left and Lizzy is on the right.  The kids enjoy having dogs around, I like them too, but I am glad that it is only for a limited time.  Their owner is moving to Georgia in September and will be able to bring them with her.  We'll have fun with them in the meantime.

School Days

 Time for school!  Today, is the first day of Kindergarten, Second Grade, and Third Grade for Wendy, Eric, and Zachary respectively.  Monday we met their teachers and it appears that this year is going to be great.  Wendy is super excited to be in Kindergarten.  Eric is excited to go to PAthways.  Zachary is excited to have 2 teachers; language/ literature and science/ math.

Hyrum Lake

After all the reunions we spent the last few days of our vacation camping at Hyrum Lake in Cache Valley.  It was fun to have some family time.  We slept in a cabin with 2 queen bunk beds and air conditioning, but spent most of the time outside swimming and the kids found two friends in the campsite over from us.

Zachary made friends quickly down at the water.  He played fetch a dog, hitched a ride on two different rafts, and just loved swimming with anyone who would go out with him.  

Eric liked riding scooters that the neighbors had.  He enjoyed playing down at the water.  He got in, but especially enjoyed playing in his private pool and the mud.

Wendy liked being outside.  She swam, played in the mud, and collected rocks of all sizes.  

 Hyrum made everything exciting.  He loved that it was his lake.  He spent time with each sibling doing what they were doing.  He had fun!!

 Sabrina was not feeling her best, but she still would give us smiles.  She liked the sunshine.

  We spent the final evening at Grandma Janets and then we headed home.  We had a wonderful few weeks in Utah and Idaho!

Flamm Reunion

 We spent the 4th of July weekend in Island Park with the Flamm family.  It was a lot of fun!  On the 4th we went to West Yellowstone, we visited the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center.  That evening Kyle nd the older kids went to see fireworks.  They got to be up close and got gift bags from Aunt Melanie.  They had a great time.  The next day we went into Yellowstone National Park and say Old Faithful and a few of the hot spots.  The kids loved being with their cousins and aunts and uncles.  Emily and Zach had "spider hands" that Hyrum went crazy over.

Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center

We attended a presentation on Raptor - Birds of Prey.  It was very good.  We also got to see a group the wolves and grizzlies.  At the end Kyle and the kids got trapped in a Bear trap.
