Temple Square

 We took a fieldtrip to Temple Square.  We parked at the newer City Creek Shopping center and then made our way through shops to Temple Square.  It was a great time, we bought some stuff, saw some fun decorations, played in the snow, ate lunch at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and enjoyed feeling the spirit of the Temple Square visitor centers.

Sea Quest Aquarium

The day after Christmas we visited the Sea Quest Aquarium with Grandma and Grandpa an the Brown Family.  It was a very interactive aquarium an we enjoyed seeing and touching the animals.

Christmas has Arrived

We left Indiana at 6:00am and arrived in Salt Lake City at about 10:30am.  We went directly to Grandma and Grandpa Flamm's new house and settled in.  The Christmas spirit was in the air and before bed Christmas PJ's were received , put on, and pictures taken.  Merry Christmas Eve! 

Opening gifts is always a fun affair.  We had a relaxed morning discovering Santa gifts and then opened presents after breakfast.  That afternoon we were able to see the Judd Flamm family and cousins for a couple of hours and open cousin gifts.

 Sabrina went to a special Nutcracker Storytime at the library.  She was able to see the ballerinas dance and then learn a dance with them.  It was a lot of fun.

Wendy participated in the Boone Meadows Singers Elementary Choir.  We were able to attend a fun filled, energetic Christmas concert.  She had a lot of fun.

 What wonderful, beautiful, handsome, energetic, entertaining, fantastic, super, terrific, wonderful, zany children belong to the Flamm family.  Here are some pictures taken along the Natchez Trace on our trip to fetch our belongings.

Spotlight on Hyrum

Energetic, Active, Learning, Curious, Happy, Friendly, Snugly, Climbing, Positive

Hyrum Flamm 

Hyrum is super active.  Here he is climbing a tree during the church Labor Day BBQ.  He has also been participating in a Ninja gymnastics class.  He gets to jump over things, run up things, and do all things Hyrum.  He has enjoyed it.

Hyrum is also growing in other areas of his life.  He is settling into school and focusing on spelling and reading.  At school he is practicing staying in his bubble and making some good friends.

He is also learning spiritually as he prepares for baptism.  He bore his testimony at Fast and Testimony Meeting and it was definitely from the heart.  He knows that Heavenly Father is real and loves him.  I loved hearing it.

Gorgeous weather made Trick-or-Treating a treat.  The evening began with a party at one of our neighbors.  The kids came back with buckets full of candy.  Zachary was able to attend a party and enjoyed himself as well.  A great introduction to our neighborhood.
