Zachary's 9th Birthday!

 Zachary had a great birthday.   He always looks forward to Wednesdays because he goes to PAthways (the gifted program), but this was an extra special one.  They were celebrating Red Red Day and so there were plenty of treats and fun for his birthday.  When he got home we did homework so that when Dad got home early we could start the party.  He loved all of his gifts and was very gracious.  He also really thought the trick candles were fun.  I'm glad we found them.

Zachary is a wonderful boy.  He is still full of energy, but he continues to mature and be able to focus it at times.  He loves to create things and is good at following instruction for lego or other building things.  He is also good at making up his own designs.  Zachary likes to be social.  He enjoys reading and Harry Potter is still one of his favorites, although he is beginning to branch out a bit.  We love Zachary!!

Watermelon

Our garden did not receive too much attention this summer; however, we did get a few watermelons and cherry tomatoes.  The kids were super excited to have a watermelon that we picked from our garden.  I have to say they were pretty tasty.  And the best news is there are still a couple of more growing.

Percentiles

I realized I did not put the percentiles that my kids were at their last check-ups.  It was right after our vacations and right before Sabrina went into the hospital.  Eric and Wendy had their annual check-ups and Sabrina had her 4 month check-up.  
Eric:       Weight = 50lbs 44th percentile                       Height = 3ft 11in 31st percentile
Wendy:  Weight = 34lb 11th percentile                        Height = 3ft 4in  8th percentile
Sabrina  Weight = 11lb 3oz  less than 3rd percentile     Height = 1ft 11.5 in 5th percentile

I've got small cute girls, and a growing boy!

Marble Fun

At the Relief Society Back to School Swap, which is a garage sale without the sale part, we got a couple of marble run sets.  They have been well played with by both the young and the old in our home.  Here is Sunday evening and the big tower that Dad helped make,  Can you say, "WOW!"

Sisters

  Wendy is loving Kindergarten, but missing her sister.   Here she is posing on orange day, and loving on her little sister.  Most of the time Sabrina is happy for the attention.

Sabrina discovered her toes a week or so ago and continues to love playing with them.

Sabrina has started to talk, talk, talk.  She likes to be loud and happy.

She has mastered the roll from back to front, and can get back if she doesn't get frustrated first.
