Taiwan: Qijin Island

We spent ate lunch at the beach and then spent the afternoon exploring the island.  First up, the beach.  It was a beautiful day to be on the beach and playing in the sand.  The kids and parents had a great time.

After the beach Grandpa rented 4 person bicycles (they had a nice motor so not any effort was exerted to keep us going).  First we rode around the market and tried a fruit drink.

Then we rode to the park.  Parks are always a fun place to spend a little time.  This park had 6 slides so Kyle had the kids race from opposite sides to see who could go down all of them quickest.  Of course they were all winners!

At the end of the day it started to rain so we headed home.  It was the perfect afternoon.

  1. It was a perfect afternoon. The beach was fun but empty, because the Taiwanese think it is too cold for beaches right now. Which is funny because it is as warm as summer time in places like New Zealand and Idaho.
