We spent Friday night and Saturday morning at a cabin in Shakamak State Park about 2 hour south west of our home. Although there were some troubles getting into the cabin, once in we had a great time, even with the bugs.
On the way home we stopped at Cataract Falls Recreation Area. We got to freeze as we saw the upper and lower falls and a covered bridge. This was a great little family jaunt before Wendy's surgery/
