Assateague Island National Seashore - Maryland
We went on a Sunday drive and stopped at Assateague Island National Seashore, it is one of the barrier islands. There is a herd of wild horses that live on the island. We saw some of them, but did not get pictures. There are signs that are like the ones in Yellowstone about Buffalo, but talking about horses.
We took a short hike out to an old homestead, where I climbed a tree.
Fenwick Island State Park - Delaware
We spent a bit of the afternoon at a beach just inside Delaware. We have made it to this out of the way state and enjoyed the Atlantic Ocean.
