Eric decided to step in front of a swing yesterday!! It was a traumatic experience. Eric reacts to pain or discomfort by running around. He will not sit still to be cleaned up, or just simply to contain the mess. A couple of weeks ago he was sick and throwing-up. I tried to get him to throw-up in a bowl, but every time he simply ran all over whatever room he was in, it made for quite the clean up. The same thing happened with a bloody nose. His face was a sight after he finally settled down. I did not take a photo then, but here is a picture of his shiner this morning.

ReplyDeleteOuch! He does have a shiner. Give him a kiss from grandma. MiKell, -you ran into a swing when you were about 3 and ended up in the hospital emergency room because it cut your eye.
ReplyDeleteOw no fun.
ReplyDeleteOh my! Oh that had to have hurt! Poor guy. That must be pretty frustrating that he runs around like that when he's in pain or sick, but it'll make for good stories when he's older! I hope he's feeling better!
