Salzburg, Austria was a fun day trip. It was about 1.5 hours from our port. Our guide, Helmut was very entertaining and informative. We enjoyed our time learning from him. We saw some places from Sound of Music, haunts of Mozart, and churches.
Our ship was docked in Linz. We were able to see a small bit after dinner. It was dark, but we enjoyed our short walk. The Modern Technology Museum was lit across from our ship. We were told that the lights could be programmed by patrons of the museum. If it was not it used the traffic crossing the nearby bridge to determine its colors.
And here you needed to sing "doh and deer . . ", right?
